No, you do not need to contact your old supplier.
Once you initiate the switch, we take care of everything. We don't require their information as we can match up your meter through our systems. You’ll just need to submit your opening meter reading to us within a 5 day window – 3 days before your live date and up to 2 days after. We then pass this meter reading on for industry validation and, once completed, the validated read is sent to your old supplier so they can generate your final bill.
