What happens if I don’t submit a meter reading?

If we don’t receive a meter reading from you, we use industry-standard methods to estimate how much energy you've used. This means that you will pay for an estimation of the energy you used, rather than the actual amount as gauged by your meter.

By providing us with meter readings, we know the amount of energy you've used and can be more accurate when buying energy on your behalf. Generally, this means that we can keep our costs low and pass the savings onto our customers. It’s a team effort!

If we don’t receive any readings from you at all, we may need to get our third party partners to get some readings for us. We like to try and avoid this where possible, as we're sure you would too.

Providing monthly meter reads mean that you will always be charged for only the energy you use and helps us to keep our costs low.
