Why do I pay the same each month if my usage changes?

We think that paying for your energy should be as simple as paying for your gym membership or favourite streaming service – especially because energy is often one of the biggest expenses faced by households. That’s why we take your payments via a fixed direct debit; because the same amount coming out of your bank account every month makes it easier for you to budget.

The way we do this is by estimating your usage over the course of the year and then dividing this by 12, to get a monthly payment figure. The estimate is based on the information you provided us during sign up and will be updated as you provide meter readings to us.
