Why am I being asked for my meter details?
We may contact you and ask you to provide your meter details for Gas (MPRN), Electric (MPAN) or both. When registering your address details for the switch, Industry records may hold slightly different information. For example we recognise an address as, 1a House Street. The industry have, A 1 House Street. The registration may also locate several meter point possibilities or none at all. To ensure we locate the correct meter point, at the correct supply address, we will ask you to provide your MPAN/MPRN.
This can be found on your statement or bill and will look like this.
